Mirror selfie feat. Katty |
Hey Everybody!
Another
busy week this past week. Zone conference was pretty solid. We had some great
thoughts from President and Sister Hammond. We also did a white elephant gift
exchange, which was pretty fun.
Saturday
was the cultural celebration/Christmas party, and that was awesome. It was way
bigger than I thought it would be and there were tons of tents and stuff set
up. There were soooooo many people that went. That was pretty neat. There were
a bunch of less active families that showed up, so it was way good to finally
meet those people.
Sunday
was the dedication of the new church, so that was also an experience. It's the
first church to be dedicated in Laos. Yay! We had a 70 in the Asia Area
Presidency, Elder Homer, come out. He's a way cool guy and he had some cool
insights about putting past transgressions, grudges, and feuds behind us. He
also had a special meeting for us missionaries to just kind encourage us and
talk to us about the special parts of us serving in such a unique place. He
knows a lot about our situation because he's had to deal with the church in
other severely restricted parts of the world.
The
rest of the week was pretty good as well. We had one of our English class
certificate ceremonies where we give certificates to those that passed our
class. Noice.
For
Christmas we went up to see some northern members that we haven't been able to
visit for awhile. That was way sweet. We got to see a ton of members and we had
a big lunch with them including like 4 of our recent converts out there.
I
hope that you have all had a great Christmas!
Keep
being a great example to everyone around you! You're
awesome.
Love
u guyz ;) <3
