Week 4 Complete - 8/1/17

Elder Ridd ran into Anziano Huntsman at the MTC
(a friend from Texas, heading to Italy).
Who knows, maybe he will run into our Anziano Ridd next in Italy!

Hey Everybody!

This week has been pretty much the exact same as the past few, haha. Every day was just filled with a lot of studying and class time. Yesterday I had to give four lessons in Thai, so that was fuuuuuuuun. It was a really busy day, and we also taught a Thai sister volunteer, who spoke super fast, so it was crazy. I can kinda read now, but it's pretty hard because there are no spaces between words. You have to know the individual words to know where they stop. Thai also uses pretty much completely different words in the scriptures than anywhere else. Even the words for “head” and “I” change in the scriptures, and pretty much every noun has a Royal version, so you kinda have to learn two languages. It's coming along, though.

I got to see Anziano Huntsman this week, so that was pretty cool. This morning we went to the temple and it's pretty nice in there. I got a care package full of candy from Bishop Smith and his family, which was super nice! Still no General Authorities have come, so that's kinda disappointing.

I hope you guys are all doing well! Love and miss you all!
